I loved updating back in the day!

I need a new start on things. I was just reading back on my old updates and I was an angry person! I can't believe i lived like that. I'm not that person anymore. I've become someone i like and i dont live my life by others anymore. I am me. I'm not defined by my friends or the people around me. For the most part i am a happy person. I do things by my own rules now.

I'm so angry right now. Well I'm not really angry but just I don't even know... I was so excited to work today because I get to work with Dan. Right away when I get to work Robert tells me that he was really wanting to ask me out. Okay, that just made me so happy, and I was all giggly. Well as the night went on, I started to notice that Dan wasn't coming around much. Like if he was called to the front, he wouldn't stand around and talk, like usual. When I went on my break, I went back to the coolers and he just happen to be there. That was the first time I had talked to him all night. All he wanted to talk about was what team my dad picked for football, and then he just walked away from me. Now thats just going to put my damper of my mood. When I went back to the front, Robert then told me that he didn't want to talk to me, because he was scared. Now I'm just in a blah mood because I didn't get to talk to him, and my hope was just shattered in front of me.

Whatever I guess. I'll get over it. It's not like it's the first time or the last this will happen.

I guess I should update, just to let everyone know that I'm still alive! I guess nothing much has been happening. I work all the time. I did get accepted to my school. I get to start class on the 26th of sept. I can't wait! It's starting to get lonely here with anyone, since everyone I know is already back to school. geez!

The only semi interesting thing i've done lately is go to my cousin rachels wedding. Let me tell you I had a blast! Wine (blackberry merlot) is one of my new favorite drinks. Kristy and I basically finished a bottle to ourselfs! It was awesome. Dancing was fun. Leslie and were dancing queens. It was really nice to see a lot of old friends and the family!

Well theres really nothing else to write about so i guess this entry is over!

Your Candle Burned Out Long Before, Your Legend Ever Did..

I feel so numb right now. My body is so dry, I have nothing left in me.

I was one of the last people they talked to before they got into the car. If only I would have said a few more words, things would have turned out differently.

If I would have talked to Cory a little bit longer about Lyssa, maybe he'd still be here today. Maybe if I had gotten up off the rock and hugged Lance bye instead of just telling him. Maybe then things would have been different.

I can't believe what I saw next. There was four ambulances! I saw Cory on the ground. I saw them doing CPR on him. I saw everything until they put up a white sheet. Drew came over to the car and told us that they had gotten in an accident and he didnt know if Cory or Kelly were going to make it. He said Lance was beaten up pretty bad too. Also him and Tony were only cut up. I saw that look on his face. Tony wasnt even drinking. She just tried to miss the deer.

If only a few more words were said, she probally would have seen the deer before.

Eric Nelson, Chad Billings, Aaron Nault, Gjeeh and I were in the car. Aaron was too drunk to know what was going on. Chad didnt know what to say, Eric started crying. Gjeeh said a prayer or two, and all I could do was just look at the lights and wonder how things could have been different. One of the fire fighteres told us the cops were coming and we had to leave. So we took the back way around the accident and back onto 581. When we came to 581, we saw the ambulance fly by. We all knew who was in it.

Chad went to Aarons house. Eric came with Gjeeh and I to Gjeehs house. He sat on the couch with me and cried. I didn't want to believe that any of this was real. I went to sleep shortly after. I woke up a few minutes later to hear Eric crying so hard. I left her house at 7:15ish this morning.

I slept the whole way to the Soo. Gjeeh called and told me that Cory had pasted away. Lance has a broken arm, Tony was okay, Drew had some stiches, and Kelly had just woken up and was starting to talk.

Honestly, if only a few more words were said, things would be different.

Rest In Peace Cory John Nelson.

When I read that it almost brought me to tears. For real now I really miss them. I saw Jim a few weeks ago, and I ran and hugged him. He admitted that he really loves me. I heart both of those boys.

MARQUETTE - Brothers named Bleau - pronounced like the color - might seem destined to represent the United States in some manner.

Westwood High School graduates and U.S. Olympic Education Center Greco-Roman wrestlers Jim and Tim Bleau aspire to wear the red, white and blue at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Twins, Tim is a resident athlete at the training center, while Jim is a USOEC facility user in the process of qualifying for resident status.

The brothers started the sport in third grade after father Dave Bleau, who wrestled briefly for Northern Michigan University in the early 1970s, took over leadership of a local youth program.

When the elder Bleau was later named Westwood's coach, the boys followed him in the program.

Wearing the red, white and blue of the Westwood Patriots, the Bleau brothers were on teams that claimed two Mariucci trophies, awarded to the Upper Peninsula's best prep wrestling squads.

Tim was named most valuable player of the Mariucci Invitational as a senior. He also made First and Second Team All-U.P. in wrestling, while Jim earned Third Team honors.

The Bleaus have strong commitments to the sport, enjoying the rigors of training as much as the competition.

"I like how tired you can get, and the amount of competition out there," Jim said. "No matter how hard you work, there's going to be someone to compete against who's either better than you, or almost to that point. You have the fight of your life every time you walk out."

Said Tim: "It's sort of like a sport against myself. You train hard to be good, and then measure what you put into it by your accomplishment."

Prep wrestlers in Michigan compete folk-style The brothers were exposed to the uppper-body-only Greco-Roman style after USOEC wrestlers Aaron Boone and Bobby Fisher came to several Westwood practices.

"We kept them after practice so much, they finally told us to come to their practice (at the USOEC). They haven't been able to get rid of us since," Jim said.

Jim is a nationally-ranked kick boxer, named second in the nation in his age-group by the International Kickboxing Federation in 2002.

He started the sport after being taken to a local gym by a friend, eventually competing at a national tournament in Las Vegas and exceeding his own expectations by finishing second. JIm trains under Marquette coach Kak Koonala in the Muay Thai discipline.

"I loved how you could push yourself as hard as possible, walk out tired, but still have fun," Jim said.

While Jim was kickboxing, Tim established himself as a ballet dancer, eventually being offered a full scholarship in dance to Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Tim admits the initial attraction to ballet was a neighborhood ballerina, but stayed with it because of the challenge he found.

"I'd be practicing ballet if it weren't for this program," Tim said. "I tried it because I didn't know that much about it. I stayed with it because it was a challenge, and I liked anything that was a challenge."

"We never stopped wrestling. Ballet helped me with control and balance; it became harder for guys to throw me, and I was able to pass some of that to Jim.

"The aggressiveness and no-stopping attitude he brought from kickboxing helped me," he added. "Both ended up coming together on the mat."

Tim said he tried to keep ballet quiet, mostly because USOEC coach Ivan Ivanoff wanted him to focus on wrestling. An assistant coach's bulletin-board posting of a recital notice let the cat out of the bag.

Most recently, Tim finished seventh in the World at the Petrov International Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in Bulgaria, where he finished last in the finals to the World's first and third-ranked wrestlers competing at 74 kilograms.

"The team has been very supportive," Tim said. "Ballet is just an incredible sport that adds to any other sport you can think of."

The brothers, enrolled at NMU, now use the cross-over of their experience to help each other and their team.

"Both have Olympic potential," said USOEC assistant coach Steve Goss. "They need to build on what they have, and continue to make progress."

Ivanoff recognizes the value of local athletes and coaches involved with the USOEC program. A strong local base works to the benefit of all, he said.

"It helps establish our program with U.P. wrestlers, maybe get them to think past U.P. titles to college scholarships and national titles," he said. "For us, some possibly are interested in wrestling here or supporting our program.

The elder Bleau is as instrumental in the connection as his sons, occasionally serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the USOEC, as well as coaching the combined Ishpeming-Westwood prep squad with Tim Hares..

"We have less than three years to become Olympic champions," Tim said. "And before that, we have to be national champions."

Added Jim: "The greatest force I have around me, and helps us push forward, is the (people in the) community. They've been extremely good to both of us."

If they do get to go to the Olympics, I dont care if they are in China or not, I'm going!

It just seems like something is missing.

I know i really long to have the feeling back. I just want passion, staying up all night talking on the phone, or just laying in bed together.

Wow only 2 more days till Spring Break. I think on thursday or this weekend Jenni, Gjeeh and I are going to crystal falls!

That means i get to see Bryan maybe! Oh geez, i dont know how thats going to go... He wants to teach me some "games"...

I talked to Brendan tonight. He said that I could always go and live with them for a week. I would love that, but i might have a job by then.

I have an interview tomorrow at 3! Wish me luck!

I love how random this journal is.

Last weekend was awesome!
I got to leave school early! Arrived in green bay at noon. Went shopping at bay part square for like 4hours. Cara, Alyssa, Toni and I were the only ones to go. We got to the hotel at like 4:30. Yeah our room was in the corner by the stairs! THERE WAS ONLY ONE BED IN THE ROOM TOO!

It was fun. The best day had to be saturday. Well heres a story:

So we were chilling in our room, because we had a half an hour between lunch and workshop IV. So Cara was watching tv, Lyssa was reading, and Toni and I were sleeping. I thought the session was at 2:15. well I wake up at 2:10 and look at our book. THE BOOK SAYS IT STARTS AT 2! I freak out, and Toni wakes up laughing because she knew it was at 2 and wasnt going to tell us. Well we decide to "sneak" out of our room, and "sneak" into the workshop. Well when we get there, we are standing in the back. Toni hits me and says;
"Hey I wonder what these buttons do?!"-Toni
"Dont you dare touch them!"- Me

As I walk away, for some odd reason the LIGHT GO OUT! I look at toni and she is dying laughing.
"Hey you guys stop playing with the lights"- Drew Mulloy
"Yeah that was me"-Toni
"Hey not all the lights are on"- Some random Iron Mountain guy.

So with out losing a beat, Toni turns the lights off again. By the time this happened i was all way across the room from her, acting like i have no idea who she was.

"Okay, guys stop touching to lights. Come up here and give me a hug"- Drew (Drews big thing during this weekend was giving everyone hugs)
"I'm not going to go up there and hug him!"- Toni
"I will!"- Cara

So Cara goes up there and gives Drew a hug. WOW. WHO HONESTLY TURNS OFF THE LIGHTS?!?! TWICE?!?!?!

Too good!

Well saturday night was fun too. Getting all dressed up. The auction was good. Gaar did some nice backflips for us. The dance was okay. Hanging out in the bathroom was fun. then Chilling with Mark ("Is it like 1000 degrees or is it just me?") Sunday was fun. Toni, Lyssa, and I woke up early got breakfast and then went to the delgates meeting. That was fun. The closing session was great. I was totally ready to cry. Its sad that it was our last convention. Gaar was crying so hard. I wanted to cry with him.

I slept the whole way home.

I have lots of memories for this convention and all the past years.. good times!

Tomorrow Keera and Kristy are coming here! YA! But tomorrow Tom, Dave and I are spose to hang out. YA! Keera and Kristy are staying the night tomorrow to go shopping on friday but then leave friday afternoon. I asked my mom to let me take friday off but she wont let me. So that means I wont get to see Keera or Kristy. Yeah thanks a lot. I dont think she know how much it means to me to see them both.

For real it kills me to know that Keera doesnt know me that well. Sure she knows who i am and that she likes to come to me first, but I'll never know her. I'll never get to see her grow up. I don't want to be a bad aunt.

So I dont know what to do now. I really want to hang out with the guys but I really need/want to see my sister in law and my dear sweet Keera! I hate things like this.

On the plus side I just called Karissa. She's still chilling out in California having a good time. Oh, she was always with my cousin Scott. Not to sound gross or anything but hes hot. He's not really related to me too. So its okay to think that. But he's a swimmer to so we talked about that. He said he wanted me to come out there so we could swim. Right. I would love to go out there.

Thats what I told my mom what I want for my Graduation gift. She wants to go to but she hates planes. I've never been in one and I want to go in one. Lets see driving takes 6 days, and a plane takes about 6 hours. Yeah, a plane def wins in that argument.

10th Grade
As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

11th Grade
The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Senior Year
The day before prom she walked to my locker. "My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step! I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she isn't think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Graduation Day
A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "you're my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

A Few Years Later
Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. I watched her say "I do" and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't` see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!". She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Funeral

Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read:
I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! I wish I did too... I thought to my self, and I cried...
